A student who "doesn't study" may actually struggle to figure out what's important, organize it, or put what they know into words. More effort doesn't fix that, but the right support does.

my process is this:
1. LISTEN
to your concerns.
Understanding what you're seeing at home and at school — and what's already been tried — is where we have to start. Our first conversation will walk through some questions & determine if my services are the right fit for your child's needs.
2. EVALUATE
what's underneath.
From there, I look more closely to find exactly what is getting in the way of your child’s learning, academic performance, and independence — not just the symptoms on the surface.
3. DESIGN
a targeted plan
Using what I know about your child's learning profile and the brain's ability to change, I design a plan targeted to the specific skills that need strengthening — not a generic strategy borrowed from somewhere else.
4. GROW
toward independence.
Depending on what's the best fit, that might mean I work directly with your child, coach you and your child on exactly what to practice, or both—with practice outside our sessions built into either path. Either way, we'll track real, measurable progress toward your child doing more independently.
